The Federal Reserve may be getting closer to hitting its goal of taming inflation, and attention has turned toward whether it will begin cutting rates this year. However, the sharp rise in rates is continuing to pose challenges for the economy. There’s also the risk that inflation could resurge in 2024, and the Fed may not be able to cut rates as much as the market expects.
