About Matthew
As an associate wealth advisor, Matthew assists his team with designing, implementing and monitoring clients’ comprehensive financial plans. He works closely with wealth advisors and the client service team to ensure clients have tax-efficient, evidence-driven investment and planning strategies in place so that they're able to achieve their most important goals.
Matthew chose to pursue financial planning because he wanted to help others achieve financial security and peace of mind. He helps educate clients on a range of topics including investment management, risk management, retirement planning and estate planning.
Matthew joined Buckingham in the Ridgeland office in March 2022. Before joining Buckingham, he was a credit analyst and associate portfolio manager at BancorpSouth Bank. He earned his bachelor’s degree in finance from Mississippi State University. Matthew also holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional designation.
A native of Jackson, Tennessee, Matthew now lives in Madison, Mississippi, with his wife, Madison, and their dog. Outside of work, he is an active member at First Baptist Church Jackson, Mississippi. He also enjoys watching Mississippi State sports, playing golf and spending time with friends and family.
