About Judy
For Judy, the most rewarding part of her role is the relationships built with clients over time and the trust that has been given to the Lee’s Summit team. Through long-lasting relationships, her team is able to learn about the client and their family, experience life with them, enjoy their successes and support them in their struggles. Judy’s main goal is to make the whole experience easy for clients, from the time they decide to work with the firm.
Judy graduated in 1988 from the University of Missouri College of Human Environmental Sciences. She joined Buckingham Strategic Wealth in 2023, after Madison Wealth Advisors was acquired by the firm. She joined Madison Wealth in 2009. Earlier in her career, she held positions in client relations and client retention at Cellular One (now Verizon). She also spent some years outside the workforce while raising her five children. She began working with Doug Clark, the founder of Madison Wealth, after her husband passed away suddenly at the time her youngest was beginning kindergarten.
Today, Judy resides in the Kansas City area, and is remarried to her husband, Wes, who has two children of his own. Along with her five children, they take great pride in their big, blended bunch. In her free time, she loves vegetable gardening, fishing and water sports, especially wake surfing. If you don’t find Judy in the garden, you will find her on a lake somewhere or spending time with her family.
