As a wealth advisor, James works closely with clients to create customized, tax-efficient plans that allow them to enjoy their lives. He and his team diligently monitor portfolios, always on the lookout for new opportunities while evaluating potential risks.
Prior to joining Buckingham, James served as an advisor and owner at Nova Wealth Management Group.
James received a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting and a Master of Accountancy from the University of Georgia. He has obtained the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification and is a certified public accountant (CPA). James is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and currently serves on the board of the Georgia Society of CPAs (GSCPA) and the Atlanta Estate Planning Council. He previously served on the boards of the Capital Group and the Terry College of Business Young Alumni Board. In addition, James is also a Legacy Advisor for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.
James currently resides in Atlanta with his wife, Shannon, their two children and their dog Dexter.
