About Harold "Skip"
With more than 40 years of tax and wealth advisory experience, Skip works to design and implement tax-optimized, planning-driven wealth management solutions to meet each of his client’s unique needs.
Skip joined Buckingham Strategic Wealth in 2023 when the firm acquired Briggs Advisory Group. Skip served as the founding partner of Briggs, which he established in 2002. Prior to that, he held positions as managing director, tax partner and tax director at a variety of firms.
Skip is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Financial Planning Association. He received his Bachelor of Science in business administration with a major in accounting from Bryant University in 1983.
Skip has previously served terms as treasurer at the Central Rhode Island Chamber of Commerce, treasurer and vice president at Meeting Street Center, and as member of the Professional Advisory Council at the Rhode Island Foundation.
