About Greg
As an associate wealth advisor, Greg works with his advisory team to analyze clients’ situations, provide guidance and present structured financial plans to help them achieve their goals. He enjoys that his job allows him to merge his curiosity about people’s unique lives with his ability to problem solve using an analytical mindset.
Greg has a specialty in financial planning for independent business owners. As the son of a business owner himself, Greg has experienced firsthand how their focus is often on their customers and business and not necessarily on their family’s financial security and future. He strives to help people wade through the complexities of their finances, serving as a coach so they can accomplish their lifetime goals.
Greg started his career in financial services in 2001. Prior to joining Buckingham Strategic Wealth, he was on the retail side of TD Ameritrade and Charles Schwab as a financial consultant, helping people identify opportunities for improvement for their financial plans. Before that, he worked at a registered investment advisor firm for almost 13 years. He also has experience as a life insurance agent. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Wheaton College in Wheaton, Illinois. He’s also a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™.
A perfect day for Greg would be unwinding on his screened-in porch that he built, tending the meat on the smoker, after a day on the lake with his family and a long run that morning. He has a goal to run a marathon in every state (ask him what state is next). Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Mindi, and two boys, who are active in playing sports. He also spent 12 years serving on his local school board.
