About Amy
As an associate wealth advisor, Amy supports fellow advisors in the Norfolk office and their clients by capturing details, conducting research, updating and presenting financial plans, serving as an additional point of contact for clients, and communicating and collaborating with their other professional advisors to ensure a holistic approach.
Since joining Buckingham in 2016, Amy’s eyes have been opened to what it takes to “retire comfortably.” Wanting to learn more, she returned to college and earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Old Dominion University where she majored in personal financial planning. She feels quality financial planning is essential as so many people miss opportunities to build their savings or end up losing them to taxes if they aren’t strategic. Prior to joining Buckingham, Amy served as a REALTOR®️ and held various administrative, sales, and marketing roles in the manufacturing, giftware and nonprofit industries.
Amy lives in Virginia Beach with her husband, Tim, and their two dogs, Zeke and Chase. She loves to start her day with a morning walk on the beach and enjoys fitness classes, trying new restaurants and traveling to new places.
